If you ask me how Rock Star Events really works, the answer is pretty simple: Gabby runs the show.

Gabby and I originally started out as the DJs behind Rock Bottom Entertainment, where our focus was simple — great music, packed dance floors, and celebrations people would remember long after the night ended.

From the beginning, Gabby wasn’t just behind the scenes — she was right there in the DJ booth with me. She’s an exceptional DJ in her own right, with a natural instinct for reading a room and creating the kind of energy that turns a good party into an unforgettable one.

Over time, it became clear she had another talent as well: planning. With over 10 years in the wedding industry, Gabby has built a reputation for creating seamless wedding days where every detail, vendor, and moment is thoughtfully orchestrated.

That’s how Rock Star Events was born — the natural evolution of Rock Bottom Entertainment into a full planning and entertainment experience.

Today we run Rock Star Events as a husband-and-wife team, combining professional wedding planning with high-energy DJ entertainment under one roof. Gabby leads the planning and design of each celebration, while I bring over 20 years in the music industry to the DJ booth (I started playing drums when I was six).

When your planner and DJ are married, communication becomes effortless. Gabby makes sure everything runs flawlessly, and I make sure the dance floor stays full.

But behind the scenes, something more was happening. Gabby wasn’t just showing up to DJ. She was refining timelines before anyone noticed they were off. Coordinating vendors. Cueing key moments. Solving problems before they ever surfaced. Making sure everything flowed—not just sounded good. Because of that, couples began to rely on her for more. And that’s when everything changed. Rock Star Events was born from that shift—from simply playing music to orchestrating the entire experience.

 

Today, we offer a seamless blend of planning, coordination, and entertainment—backed by an incredible team of trusted vendors and a process designed to make your life easier. Dave is still behind the booth, bringing the energy, reading the room, and keeping your dance floor exactly where it should be. And Gabby? She’s the one running the show. Ensuring your timeline flows. Your vendors are aligned. Your stress is gone, and your wedding day feels effortless from beginning to end. Because you deserve to be fully present. Not managing vendors. Not answering questions. Not worrying about what’s next. Just living in the moment.
